While Hook is a classic pirate captain, Barbosa has a new-age Bad Ass vibe. He laughs in the face of danger and has danced with death on multiple occasions already. Hook on the other hand has too many weaknesses, such as his overly exaggerated fear of ticking clocks. While the hook may play a good role during the swashbuckling, Barbosa is faster, stronger, and simply is unafraid of anything Hook could possibly come up with. And while Barbosa traditionally carries a firearm, in the case of strict blades he would make it hard for Hook to wipe his own buttocks by slicing on his other hand.
I admit that Hook would be a major failure in this battle, BUT what if he and Peter Pan joined forces to combat the bigger evil (ie. Barbosa)... is that allowed?
Man, you would be scared of clocks too if they were portents of a thirty foot tall crocodile. Barbosa is pretty bad ass, and can strike from beyond the grave, but Hook has style, and that has to count for something. I am going to vote draw.
